Start with the concept, not just the answer
Tell us the learner’s grade and the topic that is causing difficulty. The useful starting point might be a foundation such as fractions, a new algebraic method or understanding what a question asks. Sharing the topic helps us discuss suitable support without asking you to commit to a block of hours first.
Different stages need different support
For younger learners, the conversation can focus on number confidence and applying basic methods. At high-school level, it can move towards linking concepts, organising working and practising multi-step questions. Mathematics and Mathematical Literacy are separate subjects: select the one the learner actually takes.
Prepare for an online lesson
Choose a quiet study space with an internet connection. Keep the current classwork, a notebook and the relevant questions nearby. Tell us which curriculum or course the learner follows when discussing the plan, so that lesson priorities can be aligned with the work they are studying.
Prices and the next step
Standard individual school tutoring costs R250 per hour for Grades 4–6 and R290 per hour for Grades 7–12. The R250 monthly administration and cloud portfolio fee and R500 annual registration are separate unless an agreed package states otherwise. Your quotation confirms the hours and applicable package; existing individually agreed packages remain unchanged.
